The Eighth Hole - Par 4
View from the tee
The 8th Green

How to play it:

The drive is best aimed along the right edge of the fairway as the contours will allow for maximum distance. On the left is a lengthy lateral water hazard beyond which are trees, a severe slope and severe rough. The drive is the easy bit.

The second shot has to be over water, trees and severe rough to reach the green which has dangers each side of it. Sometimes it is best to lay up and take a wedge to the green.

The green slopes from back to front and will hold a ball. It is protected by a bunker on the left. To the right another bunker and an old quarry depression with severe rough.
