A good start to the year for 2012 Captain David O'Dowd. Forty five players in attendance to celebrate his coronation with soup and roll to as a reward for effort on a day that was not the best for good golf with high winds, rain and the odd spot of sunshine. Prizes for the first three groups and a pound each for the length of the captains drive which was won by Bob Gerbez who correctly guessed 164 yards. (a good effort under the circumstances).
