Flyover
The first hole presents a straight innocuous-looking start to the course but a line of trees to the left separate the fairway from the 18th, and a clump of trees protect the 9th on the right. The fairway slopes gently left to right yet a long drive to the left can finish with a large oak hindering your approach to the green. The green is wide left to right with a significant slope dividing the top half, where the flag can be found in winter, from the level bottom half. A small bunker lies to the right front of the green.
Pro Tip
Unless going for the green off the tee, leave yourself far enough back so the Oak tree doesn’t impede your 2nd shot.
