Hole 13

13 may be unlucky for some but this 13 can be an easy 3 or even 4 pointer in a Stableford. All it needs is a straight tee shot to the elbow of the dogleg to the right; this will leave a downhill 150 yd 2nd shot to a large green. The 14th tee lies beyond the green with OB beyond that. Of course our woodland course, so attractive in Spring and Summer, has trees left of the tee and to the right near the elbow. White stakes exist as far as the right side trees but beyond them the right hand edge of the buggy path marks OB. A small greenside bunker at the front catches balls drifting right.
