Hole 18

As you walk down from 17 to the 18th tee take a while to admire views of the course and the countryside beyond for the last time. The negative thinker sees this final hole as a chance to lose his ball 3 times; OB stands to the right from tee to green, protecting our neighbour's driving range; a wide ditch stands in front of the tee box and a pond lies in front of the green. Be positive- hit your drive at the marker post and a well hit tee shot leaves a mid iron approach to a large green with the clubhouse and the bar awaiting. Don't forget the grass to the right beyond the road/ buggy path is OB and observers on the balcony may well shout, if you play your ball from what you think is a lucky lie between the hedge and the road/path.
