Hole 9

A wide ditch 30yds in front of the green is the main feature of this hole; look out for Mallards, coots and moorhens here. The tee shot can be played cautiously if you know a lay-up is coming for your 2nd shot. The fairway is wide and a ball hit from the tee with draw is helped by the natural right to left slope. Red stakes appear to the left 50 yds from the tee where another wooded area exists. Players on the 11th tee hit across this fairway so beware of players and balls coming from your left. Left of the green is a shallow bunker which protects players waiting on the 9th tee. The green slopes back to front and is fairly narrow.
